"I had tried yoga a couple of times before taking Ammie's classes, but I never seemed to take to it. My first class with Ammie was back in summer 2005 and I'm now hooked. I started the course to improve my flexibility but I've noticed loads of other benefits. "I enrolled in the yoga for pregnancy when I was about 23 week pregnant. The aim for me was to do gentle exercise, reach a good level of relaxation, connect with baby in a different way and also meet other mums-to-be. Having done yoga before, I knew I would enjoy but I actually enjoyed even more that anticipated:on top on what I was looking for, I discovered the benefits of massages (they're so simple but feel soooo good!) and how to work with sounds for a few exercises in a really friendly atmosphere. Ammie's a great instructor.

She varies the exercises every week so that we get full benefit of the classes, distributes hand outs frequently on the main yoga positions and massages, talks us through the exercise (how to do it and why it's good), corrects our postures and always asks us before the class whether we're all well/have met any discomfort recently etc and adjusts the exercise for a particular person if necessary. To conclude, yoga for pregnancy has been a benefit for me in a fun & friendly atmosphere".

Ammie very quickly put all the new students at ease with an overview of what to expect, explaining that each individual would only push themselves as far as they were comfortable with.
